UAE: Khalifa University offers scholarships to international students

Abu Dhabi: Khalifa University, a public research varsity located in Abu Dhabi, UAE is offering scholarships to international students who want to pursue Master’s and doctorate degrees.

The varsity is offering three different types of scholarships viz., Master Research Teaching Scholarship (MRTS), Combined Master/Doctoral Research Teaching Scholarship (CMDRTS), and Doctoral Research Teaching Scholarship (DRTS).

Master Research Teaching Scholarship

International students who want to pursue a Master’s degree at Khalifa University are eligible for the scholarship.

Under the scholarship, the selected students will get the following benefits

1. Full tuition fee coverage.
2. Medical insurance.
3. Support to attend international research conferences (Subjected to approval).
4. Mobilization and demobilization flight assistance for overseas international students. and
5. Monthly stipend of AED 4,000.

However, under the scholarship, students will not get accommodation costs.

Combined Master/Doctoral Research Teaching Scholarship

This scholarship is available for students who want to pursue both Master’s and doctorate degrees at Khalifa University.

Under the scholarship, selected students will get the following benefits

1. Full tuition fee coverage.
2. Medical insurance coverage.
3. Support to attend international research conferences (Subjected to approval).
4. Mobilization and demobilization flight assistance for overseas international students.
5. Free University accommodation or assistance of AED 2,000 per month for accommodation.
6. Monthly stipend of AED 8, 000 during MSc and AED 12, 000 during Ph.D.

Doctoral Research Teaching Scholarship

Under this scholarship, students who want to pursue a doctorate degree at Khalifa University are eligible. Selected students will get the following benefits.

1. Full tuition fee coverage.
2. Medical insurance coverage.
3. Support to attend international research conferences (Subjected to approval).
4. Mobilization and demobilization flight assistance for overseas international students.
5. Free University accommodation or assistance of AED 2,000 per month for accommodation.
6. Monthly stipend of AED 12,000.

Khalifa University scholarships: How to apply

In order to be considered for the scholarships, students have to apply for the relevant courses at Khalifa University.

The last date to apply for both Master’s and doctoral programs is October 23, 2022, till 11:59 pm (UAE time).
