Rs 35.69 lakhs worth gold seized at Hyderabad airport

The passenger who arrived from Muscat on an Indigo flight had concealed the gold in the form of capsules in his rectum.

Hyderabad: The Customs officials at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) seized 590 grams of gold from a passenger on Tuesday.

The passenger who arrived from Muscat on an Indigo flight had concealed the gold in the form of capsules in his rectum. The officials seized three capsules weighing 590 grams and valued at Rs. 35.69 lakh.
