Hyderabad: Overflowing drain at Shaheenagar troubles residents

Hyderabad: Locals and commuters are facing lot of problems due to the overflowing drainage water on the Shaheehnagar–Pahadishareef main road.

Residents in the recent past have been aghast at the Jalpally municipality’s apathy for being unable address the problem. The accumulation of drainage water in the area has turned into a breeding ground for mosquitoes, also causing health hazard, said local residents.

During Ramzan, the worshippers at a nearby mosque also face inconvenience because the dirty water gets splashed on the clothes when motorists pass by.

Locals said that they have complained and brought these problems to the notice of the local public representatives several times, but they were unable to address the grievance.
