Hyderabad: Former professor of Nizamia Tibbi College passes away

Hyderabad: Former professor of Hyderabad’s Nizamia Tibbi College, Dr. Sattar Begum, passed away yesterday at her residence in Saidabad.

The widow of the late Mohammad Nayeem passed away due to a brain hemorrhage.

Her funeral prayers (Namaz-e-Janaza) were held after Zohar prayers yesterday at Masjid-e-Meraj opposite Chachalguda jail in Kurmaguda. Later, she was laid to rest in the adjacent graveyard.

The former professor of Nizamia Tibbi College in Hyderabad is survived by her daughter, Dr. Seema Nahid, who arrived home just moments before her passing. She is also survived by her three grandchildren and son-in-law, Inayathullah Shareef.

Condolences started pouring in from Syed Mujeeb (Journalist) and Tahseen, as well as all her sisters, brothers, nieces, and nephews from Australia, New Zealand, Canada, America, and Saudi Arabia.
