Hyderabad: In view of the ongoing worldwide 358th Prakash Purab (holy birth anniversary celebrations) of Sri Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth and last Sikh guru and founder of Khalsa Panth, a ”Vishaal Deewan’‘ (mass congregation) will be organised under the aegis of Prabhandak Committee Gurdwara Saheb Secunderabad at Classic Garden in Secunderabad from 10 am to 3 pm on Sunday.
Hundreds of Sikh devotees and people from other faiths are expected to converge in the congregation which will be marked by the recitation of Gurbani Keertans (holy hymns) by reputed Ragi Jathas (religious preachers) who are being specially invited from various parts of the country to render shabad keertans.
Sarabjeet Singh (Patna Saheb), Jaskaran Singh (Patiala), Gyani Jagdev Singh, Charanjeet Singh and other reputed Ragi Jathas will recite shabad keertans (holy hymns and kathas) and throw light on the teachings of the Sikh gurus.
After the culmination of the congregation Guru Ka Langar (free community kitchen) will be served to the devotees.
